Advertise on Balgowlah Online

Display advertising appears in the right hand column of each Balgowlah Online page.

A standard ad is 200 pixels wide and 150 pixels high. Ads can be enlarged vertically by multiples of 150, but not horizontally (a double size ad is at 175% of the normal price and a triple size ad is at 250%).

An ad can be a fixed graphic, an animation or a "Flash" file. (There may be a preparation surcharge if it is a particularly complex animation).

Discounts are applicable for packages of ads.

1 week - $250 + GST
This is used for special events only and is not meant for generic business ads.

Suburb Page
1 month - $100 + GST

Category Page
3 months - $100 + GST
6 months - $150 + GST
1 year - $200 + GST

Listing Page
1 month - $50 + GST
3 months - $100 + GST
6 months - $150 + GST
1 year - $200 + GST
A business receives a 50% discount if it uses the space itself.
A business will be given priority to use the space next to its own listing.
A competing business will not be allowed to display next to a business listing.

The editor's decision is final on whether an ad is deemed "appropriate" for a section.
